HoopsterTots
HoopsterTots is a program created and launched by SoccerTots Incorporated in the summer of 2009. SoccerTots is the United States premier soccer-based child-development company. Over the years, SoccerTots has received so many requests to use its philosphy and expertise to create a basketball based program that we finally relented and began writing and developing in 2007. The development team was lead by one our experienced SoccerTots operators who has a basektball background. His experience and passion for the SoccerTots way, has produced a program that is getting enthusiastic reviews from parents all over the country.
SoccerTots® (2002-Present)
SoccerTots® began local operations in February of 2002. In August 2002 SoccerTots® began marketing the SoccerTots® program to potential Licensees and signed its first License a month later. Currently SoccerTots® has 45 Licensees running SoccerTots® at over 145 locations including locations in Canada and Peru. In the fall of 2008, Soccer Tots® stepped up its program and started franchising its concept.
SoccerTots® was founded and is run by Kent Gold. In 1995, Kent started and ran a company called Arena Sports, which runs indoor sports facilities. Kent grew Arena Sports from its original location in Seattle to four locations in the Puget Sound Region and one in Vancouver, Canada. Besides running sports facilities and child development programs, Kent has worked as an aerospace engineer, systems developer, product manager, and business consultant.
